Engine
From basic maintenance and repairs of inboard and outboard engines to complete repowers of large vessels, MacDougalls’ has technicians ready for the task that are certified by Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit, Yanmar, Volvo, MAN, Westerbeke, Northern Lights, Yamaha, and Mercury. MacDougalls’ has a dedicated engine repair shop with the latest diagnostic and repair tools.

Electronics
- MacDougalls’ Electronics Department offers the finest electronics products, from GPS, radar, satellite, audio & video, and communications to integrated marine instrumentation, safety beacons, and fish-finders. Famed throughout the world, our electronics department has the capability to design and install complex electronics installations to meet the needs of any yachts, large or small. We have an experienced team of trained and certified technicians, fully equipped to travel to your location to perform system installations, start-up, and calibration.

- MacDougalls’ service personnel are FCC licensed and NMEA certified technicians. Our installations are made in strict accordance to the manufacturers’ specifications and warranty requirements.
- We provide both warranty and post-warranty service for every manufacturer whose products we sell. We also maintain an inventory of key replacement parts. Our mobile maintenance vans provide services throughout New England. Worldwide service can be arranged.
Electrical/Plumbing
We specialize in repairs and upgrades of marine electrical systems, including power management, rewiring, bonding, HVAC, high voltage systems, batteries, multiplex systems, and solar panels. We use only equipment and materials that are rated for marine application by The American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC).
Let us service, repair or upgrade your onboard plumbing. We install tanks, hoses, pumps, fittings, and complete HVAC, refrigeration, watermakers, accumulation, and fresh and saltwater head systems.

Carpentry
We use only the best, marine grade materials. Our carpenters make sure that our work can withstand the physical stresses and weather conditions your yacht is exposed to. We use high performance plywood and treated exotic woods and can color, stain, coat, and finish to the highest quality standards. Our carpentry shop is ventilated, as well as temperature and moisture controlled to guarantee the best possible finish.
